BIG DAY OUT

Capping off 5 years at Sydney's biggest music festival, Matt Gormly again served the Channel V team. This year he worked as part of a two-camera team shooting a long day of hostings and interviews for the channel's "Big Day In" delayed telecast.

A DigiBeta production, Travmatt also provided HMI lighting. For such back-breaking handheld slogs Matt swears by the Easyrig 2.5 camera support to ease the pain and introduce a floaty look to the moving camera.

In previous years Matt's served at the Sydney BDO shooting on-stage, from the tower for the big-screen, and for live & recorded hosting & interviews. Likewise, the roles have been repeated for the HomeBake festival since 2004.
