HOUSE HUNTERS (USA)

- JUN 2006

HGTV's long-running series House Hunters International came Down Under in June - stopping by Sydney's majestic Sandy Point. Unfortunately, the famous Aussie weather stayed away, drenching our American visitors for the duration of the shoot.

Sandy Point is tucked away on Sydney's outskirts on the beautiful George's River. It's remote positioning has created a unique and tight-knit community. Those who discover its charm find it hard to leave. And so it was with our host family, who've decided to upgrade their residence whilst staying locally.

Filming for the 30-minute episode was helmed by Matthew Gormly, with Travelling Matt supplying the NTSC SP Betacam crew, equipped with HMI lighting. Sound Recordist Richard Strangelove and PA (the over-qualified) Sarah MacLellan.

Special thanks to the outstanding hospitality of our Sandy Point hosts.
